The Licking County Domestic Relations Court is a special division of the Licking County Common Pleas Court. By special, we mean that only certain kinds of cases can be heard here. We hear all cases involving divorce, dissolution of marriage, legal separation and annulment for people who live within the borders of Licking County.

Licking County - Clerk Of Courts Clerk Of Courts The Clerk of Courts Office in the General and Domestic Division is open Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm. The Clerk of Courts Title Offices (Newark, Pataskala and New Albany) are open Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. The Newark branch is open on Saturdays, 8 am to 12 pm.

The Licking County Municipal Court has jurisdiction over all traffic and criminal misdemeanors that occur in Licking County, Ohio. The Court also handles preliminary matters in felony cases and has jurisdiction over civil cases involving claims of up to $15,000.00. In addition, the Licking County Municipal Court has a Small Claims Division.
